In October 2024, Fatima Karimova participated in the Exile Media Forum in Hamburg, organized by Körber-Stiftung. The forum brought together journalists and media professionals from different countries to discuss the realities of reporting and operating media organizations in exile.
As part of a panel discussion featuring representatives of exiled media from Syria, Russia, and Azerbaijan, she shared insights from her work at Mikroskop Media. The conversation focused on the challenges facing exiled journalism, including audience engagement, sustainability, and innovative approaches to content distribution.
The forum provided an opportunity for journalists from different countries to exchange experiences and discuss common challenges facing independent and exiled media worldwide.
