The episode examined Azerbaijan ahead of COP29, exploring the country’s human rights situation, restrictions on independent journalism, and the tensions between its international climate ambitions and continued reliance on fossil fuel exports. Through interviews with journalists, activists, and environmental initiatives, the program highlighted the experiences of those advocating for greater transparency, press freedom, and environmental awareness in Azerbaijan.
